For 12 months 18 students from on average eight different European nations live and work together day in and day out, creating strong group ties that persist long after the end of the course. The links within the class play a key role during the course as participants gain a solid grasp of production and distribution issues, and have also served as a basis in establishing our unique network of young European producers.

Atelier Network, the alumni association, maintains and strengthens the network of former students, fostering ties right across Europe between participants who have attended the course over the years. It is a lively forum for exchanges between all our alumni. Dialogue between the alumni and the film industry flourishes, and international co-productions involving network members are promoted thanks to regular meetings, for example in Berlin, Cannes and during the Franco-German Film Meetings. Cooperation with festivals in Locarno and Buenos Aires and with various interest groups also plays a central role for the network. 

The Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris promotes and supports Atelier Network’s mission and activities.
