Hungary 1946. The Hungarian policeman Sándor must diplace his foster father, the Hungarian-German farmer Michael and his wife from their old traditional farm. Between his deep connections and his duty, he tries to carry out the deportation as gently as possible. But Michael’s refusal to leave his country, leads ultimatlty to a tragic end.
